KB Home debuts new home office concept designed to meet the needs of today’s homeowners

The KB Home Office offers a personalized solution for working from home at an affordable price and is being introduced in Colorado.

The pandemic has served to accelerate the trend of working from home. During the past few months, Americans have accepted makeshift workstations despite challenges and frustrations, because they have been viewed as temporary. Now, as many companies shift to working remotely for the foreseeable future, and for some, perhaps permanently, homeowners are seeking to optimize their work-from-home experience.

If your needs have changed and you’re working remotely, we have great news. The KB Home Office has been specifically designed to meet your priorities so you can enjoy a dedicated room to host online presentations, in-person meetings and boost your productivity.

Working from home is a delicate balancing act between your personal and professional life. Meeting deadlines, taking calls and interacting with your kids or pets without the privacy of an office can be distracting. We get it.

What features are included in the KB Home Office?

We recognize that while everyone has individual goals for success, there are some essentials a home office should have. Lots of desk space, features to stay organized and plenty of electrical outlets to keep you powered up are key.

The new KB Home Office includes:

  • Built-in workstation
  • Large open shelving
  • Upgraded electrical package

You’ll find it all right here. Our home office includes a built-in workstation for your desktop and monitors, open shelving for books and photos, plus an upgraded electrical package with receptacles, phone jacks and USB charger. All at a price that fits your budget.

Can I personalize my new home office?

Every KB homebuyer has the ability to personalize their new home to fit their lifestyle, and their budget. That includes adding features to their dedicated office space. So whether you want more technology solutions, an enhanced soundproofing/insulation package, tailored lighting, ceiling fans or window treatments, it’s all possible. You can even choose to have a beverage center to grab a cool drink before your next online meeting.

In select floor plans and locations, KB homebuyers also have the opportunity to add a half-bath, additional windows, as well as a separate outdoor entrance with a private patio.

KB Home appreciates that working remotely is a growing trend for many Americans from coast to coast. Make the most of this exciting opportunity and get down to business, right at home.
