The Arrival
Downtown Denver just got a serious glow-up.
This fall, XSO Nightclub opened its doors on the third floor of the Denver Pavilions, bringing a Vegas-style nightlife experience to the Mile High City.
After months of anticipation (and nearly $4.7 million in renovations), the 12,000-square-foot venue made its debut on September 15, 2025, with an opening party that pulsed late into the night.
“We wanted to bring a Vegas type of vibe—without having to go to Vegas,” says co-owner Ventura Morales, whose family also owns the beloved 3 Margaritas restaurants around Colorado.
A Club Built for Everyone

The layout is part of the magic. Rather than one massive dance floor, XSO features multiple themed rooms—each with its own lighting, mood, and music. Step from a Latin-beat lounge into an EDM arena, then slide into a reggaeton room before heading to the outdoor DJ patio overlooking 16th Street.
With room for roughly 800 guests, every space feels intentionally curated—opulent, energetic, and ready for selfies.

Setting a New Standard for Denver Nightlife

Denver has flirted with high-end nightlife for years—think rooftop bars, speakeasies, and weekend pop-ups—but XSO marks the city’s first full-scale, Vegas-inspired club since the pre-pandemic boom.
Its home in the Denver Pavilions is strategic: easy parking, built-in foot traffic, and prime proximity to restaurants, theaters, and hotels. For locals, it’s a reason to stay downtown after dinner. For visitors, it’s a reason to extend their trip another night.
“Downtown needed something that felt truly world-class,” says Morales. “We’re giving people that destination nightlife experience without having to fly to the Strip.”

The Experience

Expect a full sensory takeover: LED walls, high-fidelity sound powered by professional DJ gear, and bottle service that feels more like theater than transaction. Early guests report a mix of locals, tourists, and industry insiders—all drawn by curiosity and the promise of something fresh.
The club enforces an upscale dress code—think fashion-forward, not festival casual—and a mandatory coat check for security and comfort.
Why It Matters
Denver’s hospitality scene continues to evolve. The arrival of XSO signals a growing confidence that the city can sustain elevated nightlife experiences on par with major metros.
It also breathes new life into a stretch of 16th Street that’s been searching for post-pandemic revitalization. Between the outdoor patio beats and the cosmopolitan vibe, XSO might just become the heartbeat of downtown after dark.
